When comparing Canelo to Roy Jones, let's keep it in proper perspective

Canelo has many belts, yes. WBA, WBC, IBF and WBA

When Roy was in his prime, he owned World Boxing Council World Light Heavy Title
World Boxing Association Super World Light Heavy Title
International Boxing Association World Light Heavy Title
International Boxing Federation World Light Heavy Title
International Boxing Organization World Light Heavy Title
World Boxing Federation World Light Heavy Title

Oh and he had the WBA HW title.

All after starting his career at 154

    Just think about that

Yes Roy is and all time great and so is Canelo both probably have the same amount of hardware except Canelo became Undisputed and Roy didn’t.

Roy is naturally a bigger guy at 5”11 while Canelo is no more than 5’8 on a good day so canelo is looking more impressive. But no knock both guys are all time greats fan of both.

Roy became undisputed before they started counting the Top Rank belt, I mean WBO

Back then, the top 3 were IBF, WBC and WBA

Also, Tyson is a few inches taller than Canelo, but shorter than Roy. Fundara or whatever his name is is 6'7 and still fighting at 154

I mean they both cheated by abusing PED's so whatever they accomplish dont really mean shyte. Canelo can go up to HW and KO Tyson Fury, I wont matter to me.

I mean that's what Roy is suppose to say, like Canelo been telling everyone that he eat a 'tainted-taco' and that Clenbuterol is now tolerated to a certain point. The only issue I have is that fans 'musta fogot' about standards. Both Canelo and Roy Jones are canceled on ATG list of the objective fan. Thats all I got.

The IBA, IBO, and WBF didn't mean anything then and they don't mean anything now.

True, but when guy's come to the ring with what looks like 5 belts or so, they matter to them

But to your point, the WBO shouldn't mean anything either. It's always been a Top Rank made up belt

Canelo has had a better career than RJJ, but I still think RJJ would have beaten him.
