Even when they announced Byrd's 10-2 card in fight 1 I was smiling. I was surprised they didn't completely rob GGG that night. Certainly was the expectation I had. As long as Canelo went 12 and didn't get KD a few times, I expected them to give him the win.

I had them both 8-4. Teddy Atlas, who picked Canelo to win fight 2, had it 8-3-1 for GGG. Both fights played out much the same way. GGG just outworked Canelo both fights. Tough matchup for Canelo (or anyone really). No shame in losing to GGG 8-4. Canelo did a lot of good stuff, just not active enough.
