Insane how right this is. Again, if there was ONE BELT this wouldn't happen. You can duck and dodge fighters real easy now but when it's ONE CHAMP, ONE NO #1 CONTENDER...youre either fighting meaningful fights or youre NOT.

And 90% of fighters today take unimportant fights over meaningful, career building fights. Look at Jamal Charles...dude fought Dervenchenko and won clearly but has done Nothing at 160 before or since...living off a J Rock win that has aged very poorly.

Look at Thurman who was a collection of wins over faded fighters and three real fights in his whole career

Then you compare any of those guys to Canelo and its apples and raisins

Bivol is with Hearn, Beterbiev is with Arum. That could be the issue here..

Bivol is more skilled, Beterbiev is obviously bigger puncher.
