Canelo definitely had issues timing him clean.
But he may not have developed a slick style if he was hurting fighters with ease when he was practising his craft.

    So nobody knows

This is boxing, the whole point is that fighters have strengths and weaknesses and you see how they match up together when they fight.

What bothered me the most during the fight was when canelo ended up on the ropes for like a solid 30 seconds, and he was just relaxing and resting with his earmuffs on. Meanwhile plant threw maybe 1 or 2 jabs at canelos gloves, and looked bewildered as to what to do. It's almost like he was thinking "****,I I never expected to get him on the ropes...what do I do now?"

Yep possible he went into the fight with to much of a defensive mindset?

If they were all the same size, Canelo would beat them up all up. Neither Spence, Crawford, etc, are defensively responsible enough to withstand Canelo’s attacks. Canelo can actually take heavy punches to the head and body. I don’t see any of them lasting with him when he decides to bully his way through them.

Who in the hell is ''greater'' ?

              Nelo is officially the standard.

Canelo was baiting him in like he has done in the past. To GGG, Sergio, Chavez Jr. Waiting for them to attack and Canelo counters. He knocked out Kov doing that. Surprisingly Plant didn't really bite.

It’d take someone savvy like Ward to get the job done w/o being super slique

A guy is not going to beat Nelo by boxing and retreating. Not gonna happen. Ward's style and skill level would be Nelo's kryptonite.
