I suppose this was a easy and straight forward prediction.

This era of super middle weights, are just way below par. And Canelo Alvarez while doing nothing highly sophisticated is exposing them all.

Nobody on here can honestly tell me, that fighters such as Carl Froch, Joe Calzaghe, Chris Eubank Senior, Nigel Benn, Roy Jones Junior I could go on 'Those guys would all be beating Canelo Alvarez's opposition'.

Andre Ward fought Kovalev at a completely different time, a unbeaten and optimally prepared Kovalev. NOT a Kovalev, purposely forced to fight in a matter of 6-8 weeks, after a tough fight against Yarde ? Ridiculous.

Canelo Alvarez is a great fighter, but in terms of pure ability I still don't think he is operating in the realm of Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Junior or even Bernard Hopkins.

The middle weight to light heavyweight divisions are below par, never before in history has a fighter come up from 147 'And THAT very same fighter's main attribute now at the higher weight classes is his physical strength and punching power' even though Alvarez at the lower weights was not considered a wrecking machine with destructive punching power.

I just think that is a clear indication, that this era of middle-weights are lacking something, that the past great middle weights during the 90's and early 2000's had in abundance.

Note: It is not the skill level of Alvarez which intimidates his opponents, I cannot remember a fight where he looked to be levels apart from his opponents in all of his recent fights. Alvarez does drop rounds, and from what I can see? Fighters can get to him. But somehow mysteriously, since moving up in weight classes his main attribute now 'Is that he is visibly stronger than all of his opponents, and his punches are visibly more damaging than his opponents'.

I just think this era of Middle-Weights are not a naturally as strong as past fighters. I honestly cannot envision Alvarez's power frightening Carl Froch for example.

Canelo skills are way better than B Hop and all those fighters, the thing is you don't know how to aprecciate the skills of Canelo.

He has things of Chávez and Floyd, it's a mix.

He knows how to cut the ring well, probably is the Best body puncher of this era, he is Smart, explosive and has great timing and very good hand speed.

He changes the speed of his punches, the timing, he has great creativy to counterpunch.

And why he is more powerful?

That say a lot of You.

Canelo is not draining himself, and he trains like a beast.

Canelo learned how to cut the ring after they fight against Floyd and he knows after the fight against Golovkin, he has a granite chin.

Canelo can do most of the things in this SPORT, he is the most proven champion and he is an ATG that can be marched against the top in history in his division.
