Canelo is a great fighter but he's pretty outboxable. But you need to be flawless for 12 rounds.

Yeah I don’t like his direction. He didn’t show much of the slickness that he’s capable of. Seems like he spent his entire training camp on the heavy bag. He looked pretty basic through most of it just walking plant down and throwing hard hooks at him. Not a lot of feints or effective slipping like he is capable of. I suppose it’s possible that he just fought that way because he realized that Plant couldn’t hurt him. Lots of fighters, particular the stylists, will think they could take him.

Tired of watching cheatelo get away with endless Mexican meat. Did they even test this fight? Never seen such blatant drug use.

They test before and after. You need to get over that excuse to hate. Where is the blatant proof?!

To me your latter points made the most sense. Don’t need to expend much energy on dodging punches that won’t hurt you. I’m not the biggest Canelo fan but he moves on defense when it’s necessary. He adapts and sticks to the game plan. Plant, even coming in I knew, couldn’t possibly hurt him. And his emulation of Mayweather will be ineffective. Mayweather has a bit of pop, so it kept opponents at bay. Plant, couldn’t tear a leaf if he tried.

Canelo works hard during his training camps. The only way someone can beat Alvarez is if they train harder than he does. I don't see anyone who has the dedication or anyone who is willing to work as hard Alvarez to beat him.

Do you think cheatelo is getting tested? That's pretty funny. He is basically carrying boxing now. Funny how a guy moves up from 154 and suddenly gets 3x stronger. Either they do not bother testing or they found a way to hide the ped abuse. Someone else probably pissing in his cup.
