Canelo still doesn't have a signature win

He doesn't have one W that makes you say "damn this validates Canelo. He's a top tier ATG.". A 36 year old Floyd Mayweather JR. (who was ripe for the picking) could have been that guy. He got dominated in that fight, didn't win a round. GGG could have been that guy. He lost that fight, but got a gift draw decision, then Canelo got exposed as a drug cheat. Charlo could have been that guy, but Canelo vacated and ran to a different weight class when Charlo was his mandatory. Right now he's just beating up on lower and mid tier guys. You really can't say he's one of the best fighters of the last few decades when his best win is arguably the washed version of Kov

The second GGG fight is what elevated his status whether you agree he won or not. He became that guy from this point on. Then add his subsequent run on top of that, Jacobs, Kovalev, Smith, BJS. GGG II catapulted him to another level

        1. Canelo was busted for PEDs

        2. GGG was no longer prime.

        3. GGG still arguably won. 0 knockdowns and there was no domination of any sort.

Canelo needs Charlo to be a certified ATG? How did you make up the criteria for that?

            lol

canelo has the best resume today, by far. its not even close.

not everyone will get a perfect KO win like a SRL vs Hearns 1 they can claim. Look at DLH close fights with mosley and trinidad. May-Pac pretty close.

Canelos resume is stacked and these guys way above him in size are getting their skulls broken by him.

Canelo weighs more than them probably. How is he small then?

GGG, Kovalev, Callum Smith, and now the slick brotha Caleb Plant are all significantly naturally bigger men than the former LMW Canelo

I never implied Canelo dominated. It was a close fight, closer than the first which I believe Canelo lost. Jacobs made GGG look old before Canelo decided to take the fight.

That said, nobody predicted Canelo walking GGG down and taking his best shots win or lose. That performance elevated his status
