How good is Plants chin?( Because I see a Ko)

I always give credit,

I predicted Canelo can get to Plant down the stretch in most prediction threads.

I still maintain Canelo hasn’t got great power. He has good power, sharp puncher that you have to be wary of. But I still don’t feel he’s got tremendous one punch power in the grand scheme of things, nor does he need it.

my point was usually referring to people thinking he’s just going to walk through world class fighters in 2 rounds because he’s some monster puncher. He’s not and he can’t do that.

Plant showed a pretty good chin the shots broke him down it wasn’t like he went down right away

Good comparison except Canelo is a bit more accurate than jcc

plant tucked his chin and covered with the shoulder roll, from that position it was hard to get a full force punch into him, like the kind of shot canelo timed khan with. eventually he got that shot in the late rounds when plant got tired. when you watch the replay you can see canelo really get leverage in that hook that first put him down. he wasnt getting that leverage in the early rounds
