Canelo had to be cautious even against a shot Kovalev because theoretically he was the hardest puncher Canelo has ever fought. So Kovalev could get away with jabbing the **** out of Canelo for a while. Plant doesn’t have that luxury. Canelo doesn’t have to give Plant any respect for fear of what’s coming back. Jacobs has an ok punch. Floyd was a lifetime ago and also miles better than Plant.

I don't disagree with what you're saying, I was merely stating facts. Another fact is Plant is quicker than Kovalev, and has better footwork. So all I am saying is, if Caleb sticks and moves all night long, follows the game plan and stays disciplined, he has a real chance. (Although he probably won't get it on the scorecards..)
