People forget an old Kovalev was beating Canelo quite confortably before gasing, like he usually does. If Plant paces himself, and sticks to the game plan, he has a real chance. Canelo pressure? When has Canelo ever been a pressure fighter? He's a counter puncher, always has.

that's not what I saw happen - Canelo respected Kovalev's power so he couldn't just walk in. Yes, Kov gassed to a certain extent but that was because he was under continual pressure. Canelo waited for his moment and then struck. This is how a couple of lions kill a buffalo. Stay wary until the prey wearies - then bam!! I'm not sure how much power Plant has but I know it's less than GGG or Kov, so Canelo won't mind taking a few to get those body shots in that will slow Plant down.

Canelo had to be cautious even against a shot Kovalev because theoretically he was the hardest puncher Canelo has ever fought. So Kovalev could get away with jabbing the **** out of Canelo for a while. Plant doesn’t have that luxury. Canelo doesn’t have to give Plant any respect for fear of what’s coming back. Jacobs has an ok punch. Floyd was a lifetime ago and also miles better than Plant.
