Mickey couldn't get control of the gym, media was everywhere, Rocky was training in a lackluster fashion, he was shooting commercials and posing for magazines. Remember how Clubber Lang was training? Hardcore, old school, dedicated? Remember how the first fight played out? Rocky started off fast and furious, only to get beaten down viciously.

Now, I know that is just a movie, but I see similarities between that segment of the movie and what I am seeing between Pacquiao and Cotto. Cotto has already said he has begun training. He seems very focused and very determined. Pacquiao has not even begun training. He is out making a movie in the Phillipines, plans to train in the Phillipines, where distractions will be at their highest, and is looking ahead to retirement and political aspirations.

Based on what I have seen, all this gives me the indication that Pacquiao is not very serious and if my hunch is correct, that does not bode well for Pacman. Even Freddie Roach is concerned. This is Miguel Cotto, not Ricky Hatton. The man outboxed Sugar Shane Mosley. He fought a grueling battle with Joshua Clottey with one eye basically, and it took Margarito 11 rounds, with loaded gloves possibly, to stop him. This is by no means an easy fight for Pacquiao, and the people who think it is are delusional. This is Pacquiao's toughest fight by far. Pacquiao may prove me wrong. He may beat Cotto, hell, he may even blow past him. Pacquiao may be that good, but based on the evidence I am seeing, I just don't see it that way. I see Cotto winning by the 8th round via KO or referee stoppage.
good points..im gettin that same eerie feeling about the fight too..cotto is still a very dangerous fighter..especially for pacman..cotto isnt slow by any means and still possesses great boxing ability..cotto definitely has all teh tools he needs to handle pac..and vice versa..cotto will take pacs punches fine..but how will manny handle cotto's punches??? and he will land a lot of punches...thats the question that will be answered come fight night..thats what im waiting to see..

            Pacquaio will be fine!!!
Pacquaio is used to train for no more than 2 months before the fight, why change now what has giving him success in the past. If you notice also in the article Pacquiao has done some minor exercise to stay in shape for when he starts full training camp. Similar to what Cotto did 2 or 3 weeks ago before his personal trainer arrived and the full training started.

Cotto does need to start earlier because of the weight issue but he will be fine also.

There should not be any excuses come fight night from any boxers or fans involved. Pacquiao finished his activities in time for his usual traininig and Cotto started with enough time to make the 145 mark without being dehydrated.

Good Points on your analysis about the fighters though (last paragraph).

              Yeah,
Can't wait for those words form Mr. Michael Buffer on Nov 14th, even though I will be cheering for the other guy (Cotto).
