      He was given Gamboa and Linares to KO them because those two fighters have a high probability of getting KO’ed at the top level (or even mid level). He could not do that. He was the one who was hurt and in trouble.

      To top it off, he’s boring. He made fans and viewers go through 3 rounds of him hugging Linares. Besides that, he’s boring to look at anyway.

      I am not sure why he will be “more avoided” after beating a guy who came up from 130? And who he is bigger than? Why would that make him someone to avoid? It’s not like he jumped up two weight classes and beat up Errol Spence.

        Power isn’t always why people are avoided. It’s when they can outbox you and make you look silly. Haney can do that.
