Claressa Shields is smarter than I thought

Finally got around to watching her on the Mike Tyson podcast (Hotboxin’). Everyone is always saying she is dumb or ****** or full of herself. I felt she conducted herself very well and was intelligent. Speaks better than she types. There is some wisdom between those ears.

Shields said she is aiming to fight Marshall in the near future. Mike was watching tape of Marshall during the podcast and actually began laughing over how badly Shields would beat her.
I disagree with his assessment and I think Shields sudden serious face disagreed as well.
The fight would be a dangerous one.

The problem with women’s boxing generally is the skill level isn’t great. Shields gets hit a lot, most female fighters do, and the power difference between those two is night and day. I don’t think Shield’s has the skill to overcome it, plus Marshall can box in her own right, great punch selection, can be a bit awkward.

I think Shield’s takes a beating in that fight once she takes some shots. She’ll realise it’s different to what she’s been in with before.

Marshall doesn’t come to play tippy tap female boxing with no power. She comes to beat you up with hurtful punches and does.

It won’t even be that competitive after a couple of rounds.

she doesn't hahahaha. She has some of the best head movement in all of women's boxing. Where are you getting this information from. Yes she was dropped by Gabriel, but she doesn' t get hit a lot. Marshall is just too slow and can't fight going backwards. Once again, before any of you bs azz posters claim I'm favoring one fighter over the other, you can't find one post of me saying anything negative towards ANY female boxer because I like them all. There are no villains in women's boxing. I just call it like I see it. i even like Katie Taylor, whom most of this site despises due to bad decisions and Hearn.

why are grown men on social media reading tweets? I've never had a twitter, tiktok, or instagram account. I guess it's an age thing. I don't know what's going on with social media because I'm not on it.

The problem with her is, the belief of what she is worth (to the public). She argues her boxing pay using male boxers salaries. Women boxing is just not as popular as male boxing.

I don't use tiktok or IG, but I use twitter because it's a great source of news/information. I'm a news junkie, and if a story breaks, it's usually on twitter first.
