Comments Thread For: Jonas Sultan Survives Knockdown, Floors Carlos Caraballo Four Times To Score Upset Win

Carlos Caraballo entered New York City with the intent of launching a championship run. The unbeaten Puerto Rican was instead dealt his first career defeat, as Jonas Sultan prevailed in a ten-round shootout. All three judges scored the contest 94-93 in a bout where Sultan scored four knockdowns while surviving one of his own to emerge victorious Saturday evening at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

They robbed Linger and tried to rob Sultan. Win by 1 point after 4 solid knock downs?

Sultan must be incredibly strong. He got jelly legged a few times and took punishment but every time he landed flush he dropped Caraballo. I'd love to see those cards. The refs had a bad night at MSG tonight.

This article's title is an insult to Jonas Sultan. Jake Donovan biased with Caraballo. Oh well. Give Sultan more credit.

I'm right after all. Caraballo can't take it as much as he can give it. I've said before hand sultan is no pushover.

Caraballo was more than a 6-1 betting favorite. How is that not an upset?
