I know guys say **** in the run up to a fight, but what a load of diatribe, half of which contradictory.

“I guarantee that it’s going to be an exciting fight and I guarantee that I’m going to come out with the world title and I’ll work my (expletive) off,’’ Arreola said.
    Ok, so guaranteed win.

“I’m gonna win this fight, I’m gonna do it. The only thing I can do is go in there and put on a great fight for the fans in Los Angeles.
Ok so not guaranteed, the only thing you can do is put on a great fight for the fans!?!

“Am I in the best shape of my life?
    Best shape of your life.
Come Sept. 26, I will be.
    So your not.

We still have two-and-a-half more weeks left of training and I’ll be there.
    Where?
There’s still a little bit more work to do. Come fight time, I’ll be ready to go 12 rounds.
Wow, 12 whole rounds, so that's why you guarantee a win, or just to put on a great fight it's unclear which!?!

"I’m just adapting to working out twice a day."
No frigging wonder your in the best shape of your life, or will be, and will be able to go 12 rounds.

“I don’t want to get caught up with all this business about making history."
Ok, don't get caught up with all this business about making history, good man!!!
"I know heavyweight history is going to be made by Cristobal Arreola.”
God DAMMIT Chris, WTF are you saying!?!??

Lots of other big men in boxing: Whitaker, Valuev, Long, Grant, Fields, Akinwande, Fury, Ustinov, etc.
Truly athletic big men are very rare. Other than the Klitschkos, there hasn't been one since Lennox Lewis. And Lewis and Bowe were probably the first truly athletic big men in boxing history, if you define "big" in this context as meaning a natural weight when fully fit of over 240lb and a height of at least 6'5".

A truly athletic big man who knows how to fight tall can beat a more highly skilled opponent than he is simply by keeping him on the end of the jab, leaning away from or blocking punches from the outside, and trying him up whenever he gets in close.

He can guarantee all he wants, but that doesn't mean its gonna happen because it wont.

He ways in the low 60's, thats heavier than he has ever been, 2 and a half weeks to go, so i doubt he loses any more than a few pounds. He is obviously not taking this fight seriously, he will be brutally koed, mark my words.

                      While we're making outrageous gurantees.

I guarantee the sun will rise in the west and set in the east tomorrow and I guarantee you that I can cure Cancer within a week if you give me 6 hookers, a kilo of coke, and 5 million dollars in straight cash.
