Smh it does feel like Dulorme is a step backwards from Lipinets but whatever.

Why do people compare this guy to Virgil Ortiz.. this dude is fighting 10 rounders and his best win is Lipnuts... i honestly believe ortiz.beats spence and crawdord. They are nothing special.

Give Dulorme some credit guys... Dulorme has faced the best opposition for years and recently, even in losses he has looked good and shown a lot of heart so it makes this fight a very interesting test for the untested Ennis. It's a good and necessary fight to be made right now and we just have to watch and see what's really going on here.

Completely disagree. To anyone that understands boxing it’s completely the other way around. Ortiz has youth, power, good body shots but that’s it. I don’t rate him. He gets hit too much as so far it’s only his youth and power that has got him through. As soon as he meets a live body like Ennis he’ll get stopped. I don’t see a single thing special about ortiz. His footwork is average as is his head and lateral movement.

Ennis on the other hand shows true potential and doesn’t have a single weak aspect in his game. Power in both hands, great range of shots, throws from odd angles, excellent footwork and lateral movement, Roy Jones like judgement of distance, picks his shots well, good chin etc etc. I totally get why people rate him - you see hints of Roy Jones, Ray Leonard in him. Mark my words, when Ortiz steps up he’ll get stopped, when Ennis steps up he’ll shine. A quality Philly fighter if ever there was one as I’m sure time will tell.

Um, Ortiz has stepped up more than Ennis has so far. It remains to be seen which guy is the better overall fighter, but, for now, I think the difference is largely style preference. Ennis is more pure boxer than Ortiz Jr, but that's not at all to say that Ortiz Jr is just a puncher. He's shown excellent skills, and looks measurably improved with each step up. Ortiz is such a hard puncher, but that would mean nothing if he couldn't land clean. He does though, because he has excellent balance, timing, technique and control of distance. Not sure how anyone could watch this kid and suggest that he's not an excellent technician. He's not the stylist that Ennis might be, but that does not mean he's not a better overall fighter than Ennis. We've seen some flaws in Ortiz Jr., but nobody is perfect enough to not ever get tagged and hurt, especially against world level competition. He's shown plenty of dog and I very much doubt he loses without giving whoever his opponent is absolute hell.
