Is Anthony Joshua career as good as over?

Like most British fighters he is one of the biggest hypejobs in the business right now. He has been a media creation and exposed for having a glass jaw.

Lets face it, like most brits - once they step outside the UK into the big time they get found out (Hatton, Khan, Hamed etc) the list is endless.

Tyson Fury’s Irish roots have proven to be the differentiator - his mindset, charisma and work ethic make him special in comparison.

The reality is AJ is finished and tbh, similar to the beating Hamed took to Barrera - he may not even exercise rematch clause (seems to be a thing for the cowardly Brit hypejobs.) Wilder would probably smoke AJ at this point too.

Equally, it looks like British boxing is in a bad place for the future. Further hypejobs like Conor Benn, Antony Yarde, Daniel Dubois, Joe Córdina and Jack Catterrall the list is endless

    Is he finished?

Nah still good fights out there for him 2 losses isn’t the end of the world especially considering 1 of them losses are to a top talent like Usyk. He’s done at top level though imo but he could prove me wrong.

if he loses to Usyk in the rematch he might as well retire, he's made huge bank from gullible Brit casuals, no point in risking his glass chin being a gatekeeper.

I thought Khan won his belt in the states and Kell Brook.? Tyson Fury Irish roots doesn't make him British then? You fragile

LOL.... this is ******.... even with the losses, he is still a a MUCH more complete fighter than protected names like Wilder. Back when the best fought the best, they all had losses. Glass Jaw? Then what about Fury? He got Knocked Down as well quite a few times in the past few fights alone.

His career will be over only when he can no longer fill stadiums and right now, he is 1 of 2 people in boxing that can actually put butts into seats and take their money.

No if he loses he can comeback and show it was off night. Everyone loses, it's resume. Having a better resume than the man .who beat you. If wilder beats josh, josh is still greater. People say josh isn't what he was any longer so wilder would only be beating the diminished josh

There's too much of an infatuation with having no losses. I would like to see him vs Wilder.

Lol PB what have the Brits done to you lately.

Anyway, in my opinion his career could well be over, I'll break it down.

1: He has some mental issues going on, identity crisis, I'm not sure what it is but he's not "in the zone" and he's not been right for several years now.

2: Immediate rematch is an issue, the Usyk fight is winnable but he needs to make quite a lot of adjustments and use a different tactical approach, it's possible but I'd feel better about his chances if he had longer to adjust

3: He can't step back, Lewis and Wlad both did that after their losses, he cant/won't due to contractual issues

4: Silk Pyjamas syndrome, he's already mega rich, I don't think the drive is there as much as it used to be.

So yeah, I think it might be over, like I say there is a definate approach he can take that in my opinion would give him a very good chance of winning the rematch but I don't know if he is mentally set up to execute it. Usyk needs room and a clean canvas to paint on, you give him no room and a messy canvas and I think he struggles, can/will AJ do that?

                I don't see it.

He’s still one of the biggest draws in boxing and any network would throw millions at him to fight on their platform. Hell no his career isn’t over.
