Comments Thread For: Hatton Feels Joshua Should Try To Bash Usyk To Silence Doubters

Former two division world champion Ricky Hatton would like to see Anthony Joshua take the fight to Oleksandr Usyk in a planned rematch for next year. Last month, Usyk outboxed Joshua over twelve rounds to capture the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight titles.

Trying to "Bash" Usyk, leaves Joshua vulnerable to being "bashed," which is the problem! Joshua is afraid of being bashed! Sometimes, as a REAL power puncher, you give one to take one!

He should've fought this way the first time...maybe not "Hatton" style but something close. He close to box against a smaller, more superior boxer. Dude....Usyk's boxing IS his advantage, especially when needed against bigger men. AJ fought like the smaller man and allowed Usyk to set the pace of the fight.

Vlad Klitschko made a career out of punch and clinch, followed by leaning all over his opponent. It was all about protecting his chin while racking up points and tiring out his opponent. That's the only way I see Joshua winning.

AJ’s biggest problem is his insecurity and always trying to prove people wrong.

Me too, I didn't expect the outcome because i didn't expect Joshua to not bash him.

He don't need to box Usyk just Hulk him. Hulk Smash, we done here, goodnight champ.

And always trying to make everybody happy. That ****** people's champ crap is for suckers! The people only love you when you're winning or whenever you agree with them. See how fast they turned on him after the Ruiz loss?

I hope AJ fights for AJ from now on!
