I expect him to get past Elder (which will NOT be easy)...

but he DOES hold on of the 4 major belts...Castillo just unified two of them...leaving Castillo (big puncher and big lightweight), Corrales (big puncher and big lightweight), and Diaz (big....workrate?)

does anyone see this kid having a chance vs either of these guys? How long will his camp keep him from them after Castillo and Corrales get it on?

Can Diaz even beat Casamayor? I highly doubt that. Freitas?

This is not a hate on Diaz post, but I just see him as a very vulnerable champion with the depth of the weight class he is in.

I have suggested that he loose 5 pounds and go after Morales and Pac man...I think he could beat Morales or at least have a shot if he fights JL or Diego the kid is going to get hurt.

yea, but he's still young guys...wat is he 21? 22? Look at Rocky he's just developing his power and he's 24. I look for diaz to be the next Gatti.

Juan should be fighting at superfeatherweight the kid might be a class act but he is chubby. With Julio Diaz, Castillo, Corrales at lightweight Juan cant to anything but hide because he would loose to all of them imo.

In my Opinion, shortly after the Julio Diaz fight, you could have scheduled another bout with Juan Diaz 4 hours later. JLC would have healed by then.

Corrales would use his lanky figure to dismantle Diaz. However; he would have to watch out for the body attack. Diaz can crack downstairs and upstairs.
