Also, Kovalev was going through a massive lawsuit which means stress and drinking. This affects an athlete in general… you think an inactive Mikey Garcia is any different than Kovalev’s physical condition at the time? Basic common sense. A Canelo Alvarez who didn’t drain at all for a 175 scale is in top shape to perform, going 12 better than any fight he ever had. this counts when fighting a monster like Kovalev who still has one hitter quitters.
Kov hardly threw any hard punches.
It was a set up or he was effed from coming off nearly getting knocked out his fight before

He tried but Canelo countered. Kovalev never been in those positions against a sharp shooter.

Bro he was up just by using his jab.
Kov never even tried any power punches.
It was like WTF is going on with this fight.
Why isn't Kov using his Power punches.
        Thats why it looked sus.
Maybe Nelo made him hesitant but idk bro.

Hes been in their with bigger punches than Nelo and never been hesitant.
Canelo caught him at the right time.
It was all about getting paid 4 Kov.
At that stage he didnt care about legacy.

Callum Smith holds the world record for most SMW jabs in one fight. Why the insecurity from lanky fighters? Who the hell was Holzken for Smith to do that? We’ve heard it countless times where “he needs to use his jab and control the pace” from every boxer stating what needs to be done in said (x) fight. GGG threw the most missed jabs his whole career against Canelo 1?

Kovalev was fooling around insecurely because he needed to last 12 rounds given his physical condition with alcohol. Kovalev was fighting just like old school fighters from 1800’s to early 1900’s. They all drank. Kovalev saved his power punches and stamina for the second half and it showed as he started racking up rounds. So he had to pitty pat jabs to offset Canelo. Canelo was waiting for counters whenever the Krusher tried to land something meaningful. Didn’t u watch the fight? …

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Canelo at the 175 scale isn’t deprived a drain. His power is like a Cruiser-HW with no drained hinderance. Whereas most LHw’s drain and perform better at Cruiser.

Is that why he gave Kova them demands to not come in past a certain weight?

Yer I watched the fight with Nelo with his high guard.
The only action was when Kov got knocked out.
                  I like Nelo.
Just isn't a p4p fight your making it out to be.

Again, you don't know what you're talking about. FFS lol. Kovalev was LIMITED 10lb MORNING WEIGH IN just like the IBF rule. Kovalev REHYDRATED to any weight he wanted to in the RING. There's no NARRATIVE even from Team Kovalev or industry that Kovalev was deprived weight because Kovalev as well as Beterbiev have done the 10lb morning limit for their IBF title. It isn't a revelation.

Even Canelo put Jacobs on a 10lb morning IBF style rule, but JACOBS dodged it and paid the fine close to a million dollars. Jacobs was making 12mil. You think he cared about the fine? lol
