I think Andre Ward is trying to tell us something.

Or does Ward acknowledge that Canelo beat Kovalev without controversy?

Ward is trying to teach Plant how to hit Canelo in the balls and get away with it.

Neither beat Kovalev without controversy, Ward robbed him first and allegedly low blow him 2nd fight.
Kovalev supposedly took a dive against Canelo the fight did look fix.

Kovalev’s narrative for alcohol abuse was already leaked during the Ward fights, perhaps JDJ had already informed Hunter before hand as well other leaks. Also, Kovalev was going through a massive lawsuit which means stress and drinking. This affects an athlete in general… you think an inactive Mikey Garcia is any different than Kovalev’s physical condition at the time? Basic common sense. A Canelo Alvarez who didn’t drain at all for a 175 scale is in top shape to perform, going 12 better than any fight he ever had. this counts when fighting a monster like Kovalev who still has one hitter quitters.

That didn't look like a dive to me??? And I had Kovalov winning until the late round KO! Think of beauty...

Kovalev was done by the second Ward fight. He was pulling punches against canelo, like I have never see him before.

Only if its a 5 punch combination to the balls and the ref waves it off.

If its a single ball punch and the ref allows GGG to recover then that doesnt count, that isnt a Wardesque special move.

Done? He regained a LHW belt by schooling Alvarez in the rematch
