Benevidez is lunch meat if Canelo fights him. He is TAYLOR MADE FOR Canelo. He loops his punches and lunges. Both are KO counter shots to an elite counter puncher like Canelo. His body shots due to Benevidez looping and lunging is prime for a murderous body puncher. He is slower than Canelo. His footwork is subpar. He has power that is also on par with Canelo. However if you’ve got a granite chin like Canelo then power is negated. There isn’t a check mark that Benevidez has that Canelo doesn’t already master.

That exactly what the Bivol play is about.

It's a reflection on Bivol and his aspirations that he's not forcing his promoter to make the Ramirez fight though.

it can only beneffit dazn if they want to entice canelo again on a good profittable fight...
Exactly, it's a no brainer fight to make. Bivol would even be favored.

But Hearn simply doesn't understand the American market.

or maybe he doesnt want to risk on bivol losing that canelo payday, if true then i expect the entire 175 division to hold hostage on their belts until canelo goes up, similiar to what 168 did... they could help build on a canelo fight and make it more profittable, but sadly refuse to risk it..

That's what pisses me off about Canelo's potential opponents.

He has fought the best of the best and stays active...but they avoid the best and hardly fight, instead choosing to just wait around for the lottery ticket.

Plenty of guys were calling him out at Super Middle when he was hoarding that belt. Unifications, #1 contenders. And go look at who he defended it against - yeah, no one. As for his move to light heavy, no one wants to bother with him because he doesn't hsve a belt.
