I don't think he hits harder as you think, you realize when a puncher hits hard by the way the opponent gets up, it was more like flash knockdowns because of the quickness fo Plant's hands, Uzcategui came back from those knockdowsn and he came right back to fight, he was never woobbled, never hurt.

When guys goe down and they get up woobling and got that look in their eyes, that's when you know they really got hurt. You can see that when GGG knocked down guys.

No, not at all like Smith and Saunders. There are levels to this sport. Canelo is elite and smokes anybody who is not. Smith and Saunders are levels below Canelo and Uzcategui is levels below them.

Ward is a joke, a hypocrite and a fraud, and this just falls in line with that fact. His fans are even more pathetic, basically Wilder fans.
Wow! Someone sure is emotionally shook over one of the all time greats of the sport

So what’s Wards deal with Plant? Never heard him ever mention Plant prior to this Canelo fight. Now he’s riding with him win lose or draw. Am I missing something ?

He’s been talking about him clear back to January stating he’d pose problems for anyone.

Like Dre ever rattled Anyone?? please. Yeah Ward can box but he never displayed much power. His footwork and D helped him vs Kovalev- not rattling him. So, there's no saying if Dre could keep Canelo off him for an entire fight.

Canelo just doesn't have an unbeatable style...he's been on an incredible run beating a lot of Europeans and there's nothing wrong with that...but I just don't see Canelo being this unbeatable fighter with his slow footed plodding style....plant actually may be the PERFECT guy to pull off this so-called upset....but based on Canelo's style and recent opponents coupled with the Reynoso camp being known for peds....then take what I know about plant and his abilities.....hmmm...I don't think its an upset at all.

                  Plant wins

                  Even playing field....Plant DEFINITELY wins

Mark my words folks. Been a student of this sport for a long time.
1 I'm not here to disrespect you, I htink it's the first time I read you on these forums, but I will say this and it's all due respect, when someone says "Mark my words" it's not a good sign, you so sure of something yet you can't prove it, I've had enough exprience debating with people on a ton of boxing forums where the guys who said things like "Save this comment" ,"You heard it here first" and "Mark my words" were wrong a lot of times.

2 I don't like when someone disrespects fighters form certain nationalities, I'll remind you of this, Joe Calzaghe beat Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr, GGG never lost to an american fighter, Kovalev arguably beat Ward on the first fight, i actually think he did win that fight, Klitchsko had a dominance over 10 years, Bivol and Beterbiev are still undefeated, Lomachenko to this day is a top 10 P4P fighter, Inoue is a monster. Fighters doesn't have to be american to be great fighters, be more respectful when talking about "Europeans".

3 The things about "slow footed plodding style" is not a valid argument imho, Marvin Hagler was always a heavy feet grounded fighter, same as Toney and Duran, having good footwork is not synonym with moving a lot, you can have slow feet yet have great balance and great positioning, is all about fundamentals, so with all due respect you wrong on that one.

4 Sayng one man definitely wins on "an even playing field" doesn't prove anything, that's just speculation.

5 I've been watching boxing since 20 years ago and I never use that argument as being right or wrong, I've been wrong numerous times and I will 100% be wrong on the future, like a wise man once said "The more I know, the more I realize I know nothing".

Hopefully I can have a smart debate with you and you don't come back with insults which will only reflect that you can't debate because you have tunnel vision.

Plant definitely can't move the whole 12. He's going to have to stand in the center of the ring sometimes and box. The Mayweather fight is the blue print. I know Canelo is a different fighter now but Plant is going to have to mix it up. And he's got to start fast. If Canelo takes the first few rounds, it's over.

In theory, Ward’s right, but in practice against a guy in Canelo who arguably hits harder to the body than anyone else, pound for pound…?

I hope Plant’s taking demolition balls to the abdomen in training.
