People like Tyson Fury don't have ideal weights. If he was to force himself down to 250 pounds now? He would probably become ill, and severely weakened inside the ring.

Right now in his career probably 265-275 pounds is most likely his most comfortable and functional weight range. I think when he comes in around this mark, he is just training, eating and not thinking about weight 'And that is how a heavyweight should live'.

I think somebody like Anthony Joshua since Ruiz I, has had a obsession about these sort of things. Probably brought on by buying into the sport science new-age culture a bit to much etc.

For years his dad and uncle said he’s at his best around 270 when training

Part of the reason his dad wasn’t happy with Davison was Davison he wanted him lighter and he said it was too light for Tyson.

Fury can come in at any weight he wants to, and he would still beat the crap out of timid Joshua and the rest of the HWs. There's levels to this shit

Usyk is the only man who poses a bit of a test.
