How did Kudratillo Abdukakhorov get to IBF #1 w/ 18 fights and only 10 KOs? How did Stanionis get to WBA # 1 in 13 fights, and 9 KOs? Jaron "Boots" Ennis is 27-0 w/ 25 KOs! That's remarkable! I think the plan is to have Ennis fight the winner of Stanionis/Ugas. Just speculation on my part but it fits.

Ennis is by far the most exciting welter prospect since Floyd left the scene and more so as he’s probably more offensively minded than Floyd was even at his peak against Gatti and Corrales. Closer to Roy Jones stylistically. Fast feet, basketball like balance and power in both hands. Get the feeling he’ll be looked as under hyped one day. He’ll flatten Ortiz inside 7.
