A lot of hate towards Yarde and his trainer. It got him to the 11th round against Kovalev. Not so sure any other domestic fighters could have done that. The issues with Yarde are similar to Joshua. He’s a muscular guy for the weight and whilst that brings him a lot of power, it clearly empties the tank quick as his cardio can’t keep up. This is why some of today’s fighters fail, they don’t do enough road work and work on cardio - look at Ali, Ray Robinson etc. All did tonnes of roadwork. Their physiques are noticeably different, less defined but they had more speed. Yarde’s build will never facilitate that unfortunately so he’s always going to fight in bursts.

With a better trainer he could have beat Kovalev.

Tunde is what I’d describe as a leech trainer, they find a talented young kid and hope they can ride their coattails to the top- like Jay Deas with Wilder.

Yarde is a talented kid but he’s obviously dumb as f*** to buy into Tunde’s nonsense. Maybe it’s misguided loyalty but surely he has to see Tunde’s unqualified method’s are holding him back.

Yarde is 30 years old. What’s his best win? Sjeklola? A 40 yr old former super middleweight contender. What’s the best title he’s won? The Southern Area title?

Yarde has already wasted enough time with this clown, he needs to leave Tunde ASAP.
