Looking at it deeply - I think the 4-yr chase of the undisputed fight took him off the sport mentally. He’s human and when you chase something for so long and the politics keep denying you - you’d become disillusioned and disinterested. Fury messing up a signed contract this summer also didn’t help.

He’s not just locked in like he used to. A change of environment from his comfort, a new trainer that can tweak a few things and being around boxing people would do the magic.
