70s/80s boxing on weekend TV was great. Always looked forward to it. I think that's why my ex divorced me. LOL
I'd scope out TV Guide ahead of time, and have 2 VCRs/2 TVs going at once, to make sure I got every fight on tape.
Gil and Tim were great. Especially liked Gil's insights. Always dead on. Those were excellent, simpler times.
