too bad peterson got gassed...if it was a fight floyd would have really beat the piss out of him once he started getting gassed.

instead. peterson wanted to stop the sparring session so what does that tell you

i'm with you when you right Larry. If it comes from the Floyd camps its false with OFF TOP..but from somewhere else, then it is. But whatever... That is just how it is around here. But as I stated earlier in this thread and another one that if Peterson did give him the business...then that is GOOD. Its like a scrimmage in football. If the second team defense whoop the first team offense, then it ONLY makes the 1st team more PREPARED come game time. This is no different.

Theen, the Mayweather camp puts out a press release about the situation, no doubt, an initiative to brush aside any "rumors" that may have been circulating about the session. Now we have several witnesses stating they Mayweather version is completely fabricated.

Of course, its all on who ever you believe. No one will know the truth except those who were there.

Also, if Floyd did get worked, doesn't really matter. Its is only a sparring session. And I dont feel it will be any indication on how he may do against Marquez since Marquez and Peterson are 2 completely different fighters with completely different abilities, physically and mentally.
                    this debate fails without video.

Other then this you wont find one quote from Floyd, so I dont know what people are talking about.

Mayweather sparred with such fighters as Lamont Peterson, an interim junior welterweight titleholder, and Mark Melligen, a rising prospect from the Philippines.

"I was working with a few different guys around my gym," Mayweather said. "They are all good fighters and they got me back sharp."
