So by the time Errol comes back from his eye surgery next yr the mandatory will be overdue. Fully expect, the WBC to order Errol vs Vergil for late 2022

But it's the WBC. Ortiz has about the same chance of fighting Spence as does Josesito Lopez. (By the way, that name is a kids name. He should just change it.)

Only way Spence gets out of the mandatory is to unify against Ugas or Bud next. The WBA just announced a four man tournament where Ugas fights Stanionis next, so that ain’t happening and neither is the Bud unification. It’s Vergil or bust for Errol next yr

WBC #2 ranked Mikey Garcia just lost, can’t bypass Vergil and name Avanesyan, Thurman or Garcia the mandatory. Anyhow, fully expect Errol to get a gimme fight first before the WBC orders Errol to fight Vergil late 2022
