There are already pictures (a couple were posted here yesterday). And he’s also training in the US.

    The U.K. is bad vibes.

His problem isn’t his chin. These are problems:

      1. Clueless when it comes to fighting hurt.
      2. Poor recovery due to poor conditioning.
      3. He does know how to neck roll and ride punches.

Good coaching and a gym like Reynoso can fit all that and also work on his mentality which is his biggest problem.

        Depends, Reynoso isn’t some wizard

Doesn’t he train Andy Ruiz? He looked at his worst in his last performance, Valdez too.

It can’t do any harm though, AJ is really flat at the moment and badly needs a change and get out of that soft Team GB sports centre in Sheffield.

So I can only see it as a positive if it happens. It’s still not going to fix his chin or the fact it takes him multiple rounds to recover, that’s just what he is. Some fighters just stay hit. But if it gives him a bit more fire or new confidence then it can only be good.

AJ shouldn’t join SNAC. Probably fail for steroids like Monroe Jr and Blue Chip Martin. He can even pose with Berto and fans wouldn’t have a clue

It would be a mistake to join Reynoso in San Diego. BIG MISTAKE. The only way that would be a good decision is if AJ (1) takes fights before fighting Usyk to get used to the training and to give him time to change his muscle memory and (2) learn Spanish because Reynoso's English isn't that good.

The other thing that people are overlooking is that maybe No Boxing, No Life is now a sponsor of AJ. That seems more likely. But if he is switching to Reynoso right now, then AJ is doomed. He's going to lose in an even worse fashion that last time. He'll be awkward and unsure in the ring trying to implement his crash course in Reynoso boxing.

I completely agree. I respect the fact that AJ might want to make a change but he really should test the waters first. It took Lennox and the great Emanuel Steward a couple of fights first hand to see any progress.

Exactly. I saw Valdez struggle in his fight before El Alacrán Berchelt. Can't remember his name right now, but that was right after switching to Reynoso. Valdez speaks Spanish, too. He looked so bad that I didn't think he would have a chance against Miguel. I thought El Alacrán was going to destroy Valdez after he switched to Reynoso. He looked terrible.

I would like to see Anthony Joshua training somewhere like Brixton, under the tutelage of someone like Don Charles. In my opinion that is where AJ should have been since Day 1. The Sheffield Amateur Academy has AJ and his team talking about "still developing", at 32 years old, with two World title runs under his belt. What is missing is that dogfighter who can take some licks in a fight and still come on strong. Look at how Fury and Wilder never let up, even when they both looked hurt and on their last legs. Is AJ going to hone such skills in the hyperbaric chamber at the uni complex?

I wouldn’t be opposed to that in all honesty. Decent shout.

"Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

Joshua pretty much epitomizes this statement, Johsua is soft.
