But the more time goes on, the more i see from both of them, what they are doing, watching their respective evolution into the great fighters they are now, i used to have it (my opinion), about 51/49 cotto. but i have it tilted a bit more in Cotto's favour lately, now..like 55/45. I voted Cotto, Hellz yes! but a Manny victory is very possible.

Manny is my 2nd fav boxer and i have much respect for him and his accomplishments, and LOVE watching him fight, almost as much as Cotto. That killer instinct, his finishing power when he smells blood, his speed and power, and the man has heart. But so does Cotto. He's a smart boxer-puncher-brawler that can time well and has a nice talent for cutting off the ring. They are both studying each other on past fights.

But like has been said here many times, styles make fights, and both are preparing for each other styles, but what we will see in the ring, i think, weill be a bit different than both fighters past fight styles, and I find it absolutley fascinating to see how both fighter will have spent their time studying each others attributes and flaws, and making adjustments in real time before our eyeballs, which will be popping out of their sockets for anyone excited about this fight.

To be fair and completely objective, i think both guys have a pretty equal chance to win, but my opinion has Cotto to win cuz Manny is stepping into Cotto back yard, not vice versa. and there are quite a few non-Cotto fans (just nuetral) that say Cotto should be able to win this fight and has more to lose than Manny.

I think if Cotto does lose, he can still hold his head up high, cuz he's a warrior. And there's no shame in losing to the p4p best there is. Plus he's making a fortune, and on top of that, i think he will be more popular and will still get a couple mega-fights because he went up against the best, (p4p). Good luck to both guys and hope we get a good clean, fair fight, no fight inhibiting cuts, (no bull**** robberies if goes to decision), and nobody gets seriously hurt, cuz both these guys can seriously hurt someone.

Ok, so i did repeat myslef...lol. Excellent thread and vid, D!
    Great Post Homie.

Look,I would want Cotto to prove me wrong,so Bob Arum can STFU,but I don't see it happening.Perhaps you can explain some scenarios for me to look out for in this fight that I haven't already thought of....???
ok heres a scenario, Miguel Cotto comes in to the fight with a 10 pound (at least) weight advantage if he weighs the same as the clottey fight. Pac is blindingly fast with his hands but to say he has better boxing and footwork skills than cotto is crazy. Cotto has one of the most impressive amatuer backgrounds in p.r. and thats saying a lot with all the great fighters that come from the island. Not to mention his stellar professional career. All of this makes cotto the more complete fighter. Hell manny just learned to punch with 2 hands. So all in all you have cotto as the more experienced fighter even though he is younger, he is strongerthan pac and will have the weight advantage not to mention he will be ****ing jww pac with 8 oz gloves. Cotto showed he can handle speed and power from bigger fighters, Pac is the one who has to answer that question.

I kind of see it your way, but it would be a crazy if Pac could hurt Cotto. I really doubt it though!!!

He is capable of beating Pacquiao considering his strength and size advantage over Pacquiao. But if Manny is 100% in the fight, his superior skills will be the key in frustrating Cotto...
