I actually lost £50 as i bet he would pull a no show with Spence. I was shocked when i saw him make his ring walk
You my friend, don't understand boxing. If you did, u would know that basics is everything in boxing. Wilder lost. Why? Because his basics are very poor- balance, stance, proper use of the jab, hand placement, head movement, defensive skills. Those are all basics that have to be mastered in boxing. If you sparred just one round with Mikey, I promise you would learn to be impressed by him after just a few seconds. His basic boxing would overwhelm u because u wouldn't see any openings to hit but yet, u would be wide open for his attack. Not only that, he would make u move where he wanted u, corner u, and he would just tap u to let u know that he could knock u out anytime he wanted to. He looks very basic, but he's not basic at all once u are in front of him

Sorry i am not using myself as the barometer to judge him. Wilder is a different story he cant fight for Sh8it but he has the equaliser.
Ok lets take SPENCE who is fundamentally good and MIKEY who is equally fundamentally good. Why did Spence prevail and dont say size. ........ I cant wait for you to answer because Mickey is ok in all those criteria you mentioned. Spence is better. I dont like Fighters that dont have quick feet . However if they lack in speed they have to have something else thats appealing. As i said he is just Ok. Josh Taylor exposes him and he cant touch any of the welterweights. Him and Danny Garcia will be a fun fight though. Both have slow arse feet

...you made a statement before this fight.

                  It didn't age well.

Thoughts? Clearly you thought Mikey would blow this guy out. That did not happen.

                      But see, why?

Mikey was fresh off struggling against a faded Jessie Vargas.

Inactive for over a year, I believe.

He had weight issues with Vargas.

He cuts an interview saying he'd consider fighting at 140.

This is a guy (Mikey) who has successfully campaigned at 135 and 140, asking for a CATCHWEIGHT to fight a 140 pounder. Meaning he was grossly overweight.

That should have told you that Mikey just didn't care to get in shape and thought the weight advantage would help him. The welterweight version of Andy Ruiz.

                      So...why? Like, why?
