    WBA cruiserweight champ Guillermo Jones will finally defend the title he won almost a year ago in Germany with a TKO win over Firat Arslan. Jones will take on Russian Valery Brudov on October 24 in Cannet Cote dŽAzur, France, with AMI Production promoting.

    Man, I thought Jones had retired and not bothered to tell anyone. Jones could have had a great career if he hadn't taken a year or two off between fights

        He's gonna beat Brudov easily. If he fights like he did against Arslan. Brudov lost to a 42 year old Virgil Hill. That doesn't necessarily mean he is crap. But it means he sure isn't a top contender.

        I predict a middle rounds ko. 6th or 7th.

              Guillermo is one of the better and more exciting fighters out. Great punch output for a big man, good power, solid chin, too bad he's with Don King and a cruiserweight or he'd have a good following.

                Thats probably because he used to be a welterweight/lmweight. The punch output I mean. It's really amazing how such a tall man could be a ww! I guess he was a beanpole back then. Now you can't say the same thing about him,lol!
