Good idea to get with an American trainer.

How cool would that be seeing Canelo and Eddy train AJ. Pure discipline and poise no ***** footing.
Uhmm... Andy Ruiz is training with Reynoso. lol. I don't think Joshua wants to get pounded down again.

He should do pretty much his full fight camp’s in USA or somewhere else, so it feels like he’s actually going away and in a hard camp, rather than hanging around the sports institute in flip flops with his friends.

I’ve no doubt he physically works hard in camp but maybe mentally it doesn’t feel like a camp because it’s so familiar at this point.
        This.

That’s all he needs - his problem is mental. Every time he hit Usyk with a pop in the first fight, he hurt Usyk and it’s evident in how Usyk moved back and start dancing around despite AJ pulling back. And whenever Usyk hits him - he starts thinking too much.

Just get out of range whenever Usyk moves in range by placing his right foot on the outside. Be more aggressive and fight like the bigger man. Hit the guy with bad intentions like he used to do in fights without pulling back. We all saw how Usyk’s face got busted up in the first fight and that shows his skin isn’t that tough - so he can get a stopped due to a nasty injury on Usyk’s face if he doesn’t knock him out.

You also have let smaller guys respect your power by exerting authority. If Usyk gets hit hard and he knows what’s coming back if he throws certain punches - he’ll also start overthinking things as well.

Another thing is Usyk’s body. His body has always been fragile and he had standing counts a few times in the amateurs with body shots and grimace whenever he gets hit hard in the body in the pros. AJ only had success in that fight when he started going to Usyk’s body. So he has to focus on that more and stop head hunting.
