If Kessler or Ward Lose their upcoming fights what happens then?

Maybe someone already brought up this issue but I missed that talk if it took place so if Mikkel Kessler and Andre Ward lose their fights on Showtime coming up what happens to the tourney? I know that Kess is making a mando defense and Ward is really fighting just to be showcased but anything can happen. If one or both lost would they still be in the tourney? I doubt their opponents would be suitable replacements for them should they win. Would the tourney be called off? Would Bika, Green, Andrade, or Bute replace one or both of them......so what would happen if they lost their upcoming fights?

If either of them lose, they dont really deserve to be in the tourney.

I'm pretty sure the tourney would proceed anyway, tho they and the tourney would lose a ton of luster. Steiglitz just won his belt and Bute got a fight already. I, er, Green was talkin bout bein a replacement, but the Oganov fight is comin up. I dunno wtf Bika is doin. Don't seem like they could be replaced if they got beat.

I just did a little quick research and y....I mean Green is fighting a who has a 100% ko rate, a dangerous fight that no one will really notice.

If major upsets happened with Kess or Ward, it would take alot of luster your right but I am sure there could be someone from LHW or MW who would be willing to go up or down for the chance to shine.

Oganov got handled by Dirrell and also KTFO by some dude on Shobox a couple yrs ago. His record is hot but he been stretched twice and his KO's ain't against nobody of merit. I, er, Green will handle him. It's a potentially excitin fight but not a really meaningful one. I, er, Green just stayin busy waitin on sumthin better to come up.

If Kessler or Ward lose, I dunno if anybody else would jump in on such short notice. Especially since this is a series of fights not just 1 match. Tho in Kessler's case, he got a belt. I hope he'd care more about the potential acclaim from the Super 6 than a dumbass alphabet belt, but it's possible he might jump out the tourney to pursue a rematch if his tuneup beat him. Then they'd have to get a replacement.

Y....I mean green should be able to handle this guy, Oganov does have lot of cans on his record. I thought Green should have been in the tourney anyway Green > Dirrell & Ward. Since he is not though, and I think he will be waiting awhile before anything meaningful comes up which at his stage can be nothing less than a title shot. It would be in Green's best interest if someone drops out of the tourney or suffers a humiliating loss.

I, er, Green would whoop Steiglitz. Bute is a 50-50 fight. Those guys are the targets at 168 since the other belts are wrapped up in the tourney. But I, er, Green have already publicly stated if somebody drops out, the tourney got its replacement. We'll see, tho I doubt Kessler or Ward get beat by their tuneup guys.

Thats true since they're not fighting all that great of fighters before the tourney.
