ABC rankings mean absolutely f*** all, the WBA have Hughie Fury as #4, is he a top 10 HW boxer? No.
Fury is the consensus top HW in the world.

Either you’re really confused or you are completely fabricating this. Tyson Fury is the WBC world heavyweight champion. By that fact alone its IMPOSSIBLE for him to be ranked. World champions don’t have ranking. Contenders have ranking. Magazines, websites, and television networks don’t have a say in official rankings.Last edited by peplz; 10-14-2021, 12:41 PM.Leave a comment:

Fury is ranked #1 by Ring, TBRB, Boxrec, ESPN, CBS and any other list you can find.
No he isn’t. There is still another champion who he hasn’t fought in his own division. How is he ranked number 1? If you think defeating Deontay Wilder makes him number one then you don’t understand the sport. CHAMPIONS ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DEFEAT THE OTHERS WHO HAVE THEIR OWN CLAIM TO THE TOP SPOT BEFORE CLAIMING SUPREMACY. Deontay Wilder is not a highly skilled heavyweight. Beating him doesn’t prove a lot.
If you don't agree, fine, but the people who matter, do.Leave a comment:

The only thing that touched him is Clenelos ball sack on his forehead ...Last edited by MrShakeAndBake; 10-14-2021, 12:05 PM.Leave a comment:

P4P lists are for fun and banter. There is no one end-all, be-all list that stands as the authority. Yes, they are opinion based, and often very biased, but some opinions carry more weight than others. A casual fan might think Mike Tyson was the greatest HW who ever lived, or that even one loss should knock you down a few notches under an undefeated fighter. Not taking into account quality of opposition, fighting opponents at their best, or the fighter himself being at his best.
I still count Lennox Lewis as the greatest British HW champion of all time, and I don't see Fury topping him regardless of who he defeats going forward. Fury is nowhere near the greatest HW of all time, and most HW's don't belong in the P4P discussion IMHO.Leave a comment:

I guess P4P lists are kind of meaningless. They're subjective, but they're fun to discuss too. As long as boxing is around, they'll be P4P lists, fantasy fight discussions etc.
It can be enjoyed while not being taken too serious. It's part of boxing.Leave a comment:
