Hi ***. Martin is the European champion, and has defended his European title several times over the last couple of years. Yes, that is probably his level, but it's nevertheless more than what Garcia has done in recent years as a fat welter who now can't get down to super lightweight and needs a 145 catchweight for this fight. Garcia just isn't ready for Prograis or any other world level boxer now.

Truth is, a ring rusty Garcia who did not turn up fit and motivated was not even at the European level. Martin did what he said he would do though, and now he is recognised as a fringe contender at 140, his natural fight weight.

Garcia? At best, he can be a gate keeper for upcoming stars at 140-147, or he can box every now and then for money against someone else who are no longer in their prime, like Broner, Khan, Brook etc. He is in that category now.

Garcia lost to a spaniard uber driver. Garcia had dragged hum up from 140 to a catchweight at 145 because he was too lazy and out of shape to make 140.

Garcia losing to an unknown bum doesnt mean the unknown bum is now great, it means mikey's career is over, stick a fork in him.
