I'm looking for Plant to be competitive in this fight. He's going to have a few surprises for Canelo. I believe he is going to sit down on his punches and get Canelo's respect early on. Don't think this will be a walk in the park for Alvarez. Those comparing Plant to Saunders are going to see the difference in a man fully devoted to his craft and one who plays the role part time. Alvarez is going to struggle in this fight and could possibly lose on the cards.

Saunders is a southpaw Plant is not that alone will make plant a much easier target for canelo.

you know his place is full of black and white folks when everyone wants to see canelo lose.

I’ve seen way more canelo fans saying that Plant is a bum and doesn’t stand a chance. You think those same fans will state canelo is overrated if Plant (the guy they say is a bum) gives him a competitive fight? Probably not. They’ll claim it’s a historic win. According to the groupies.

I really don't care who wins. I expect a competitive fight. It is true Plant has been matched softly. As have a lot of PBC champions. Buuut,so has Canelo since GGG. Canelo is a good fighter, but to unify 160 would have been much more impressive than 68.
I do give the edge to Canelo due to experience at the higher level. But Plant IS coming to win with a full training camp behind him. He isn't trying to buddy up to Canelo like some of these other fighters have. They're so grateful for the large payday they bend to Canelo's every whim.
While true Plant has also had to bend to get the fight,he's bringing an attitude a fighter needs to have to win. I fully expect Alvarez to struggle this fight. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. It won't be the first time. Peace

I feel Alvarez has an uphill task to starch Plant. I think Plant has what it takes to confuse Alvarez. If judges aren't paid off, Plant has a better chance than Saunders or the previous fighters Alvarez has faced. OK he knocked these guys out. Plant would likely win on points if he doesn't get blasted out..

Saw the latest videos of Canelo training and no BS the dude looked incredibly fast. Canelo has been getting better and better. It's really incredible that he keeps showing progress. Plant will run all night and Canelo will win on points for being the aggressor and taking the fight to him
