If Wilder had been lighter, would Fury had rag dolled him worse?

I think so. Fury seems to enjoy battering Wilder around

I think Wilder would be better, he'd be lighter on his feet and arguably have better stamina, maybe less power.

But he has several major issues when fighting Fury though. Apart from the obvious - Wilder can't take him out with a single shot, Furys recuperative abilities are too good, and Wilders follow up attack is not good enough.

Wilder doesnt like to be pushed back and when he can't control the pace he tires much quicker. He had a good round1 but you could almost see the anxiety, the mental and physical effort to try and keep Fury at bay and keep the fight in the middle of the ring. He has to throw more power punches then he is comfortable with and that in combination with the punches he is being hit with, the mauling, clinching, is a recipe for disaster regardless of his weight.

In fight 1 Fury gives him time and space and hes a totally different fighter.
