Does anyone know why Malik Scott was giving Wilder drinks from 2 different bottles he was holding at the same time, between rounds? Lid off the clear one, drink from that, lid back on, lid off the red and white one, drink from that. I think the label said Panama Lewis Mix.Comment

I'm a fan of Wilder. And I like the Gypsy King, too. Only when it comes to boxing, though, for both. I don't care too much for their personalities.
With that out of the way, I've been saying this ever since I first saw Deontay Wilder fight, which I think was against Firtha: Wilder needs to add a lot of mass to his legs. And even if he didn't think he needed to do that for all his years as a professional because it never came into play, he should have realized that after the 2nd fight with Fury. He had a year and a half to do that and what does he talk about? Benching 350! He should have focused on squatting, leg presses, etc. That's the only way he could withstand Fury leaning on him.
And yeah, the Gypsy King fought dirty. He should have been deducted a point for holding behind the head and hitting. But WIlder's team should have expected that after the dirty/mauling tactics of the second fight. Prepare for it. Fight dirty back. Russell Mora didn't allow Fury to maul as much as the ref in the second fight, but besides breaking them up fairly quickly when that was happening, he still didn't do enough. But, team Wilder should have been prepared for it.Comment

fury’s got a ton of heart and will. But he was knocked out cold in the 1st fight and should have lost. He also got a long count in the 4th round and the fight should have been waved off. He’s a sloppy fighter but effective. I don’t see much skill I just see a giant man winning fights with heart and body weight and size. Leans on you to wear you down.

That was a hell of a fight.
This is one of the few fights where I like both guys and really don't want either to lose (Crawford/Porter is gonna be like that too)
I'm not disappointed in either.
I'm just as happy for Tyson Fury as I am disappointed for Deontay Wilder.
It's good when boxing can produce these types of results with no controversy and we should celebrate that.Comment

Shhhhh Robbie Barrett has spoken and the clown knows more about Boxing than George Foreman and Arum combined. He’s the all knowing, all sports encompassing czar. For all intents and purposes he invented Boxing. He was Charlie Zelenoff before Charlie Zelenoff.Comment
