the only problem with waiting for the gamboa fight to gain steam is that there is a good chance that gamboa will be kod and then the luster would be taken off a potentially explosive match. i agree that it would be better suited for the future but i think top rank doesnt want to take a gamble with gamboas questionable chin

Hopefully, Juanma/Caballero will be followed by Juanma/Gamboa, and I'm pretty sure Gamboa's wrecklessness will cause him to walk into something nasty, like Juanma's straight left. I just hope it lasts long enough to be a war, so the price of the PPV will have been worth it. lol

Gamboa isn't ready for someone of Juanma's caliber. I think Arum is pushing the fight too fast. Give a year or two to build and let each of them gain some experience and championships.
