"If Tyson Fury is fighting Deontay Wilder and Deontay is 238 and the hardest puncher in the history of the sport, and he’s willing to come and lean on Deontay to wear him down, what do you think he’s going to do to Usyk."
Not sound reasoning from Scott here.
First, one of the reasons Fury leant so much is because Wilder was such a fearsome puncher.
Second, if Usyk fights Fury, he is not going to let Fury lean on him. His feet are always working, He does not hang around to let some lump lean all over him.
Third, Usyk at 221lbs shows less tiredness in the 12th round than Wilder did by the 5th round at 238lbs.
Lots of people happy to say Fury would beat Usyk no problems, but then a lot of people said Joshua would walk through Usyk, including Fury himself. These things can only be decided in the ring.Comment

Just as I had predicted. The dumbass decided to switch to a less protective glove at the last minute, which only provides less protection to his hands, not more concussive power. He can only blame himself for his bad decision making. He knew why he switched gloves a long time ago. Because his hands can't handle punching as hard as he does. This better not be an excuse for why he lost. It was his own fault.Comment

I dont think Wilder needs to make excuses. He showed character nobody thought he had. He was beat by the better man and made it interesting the entire time. There was several times anybody who was watching thought it was seconds from ending and Wilder kept standing and kept throwing punches. Both men showed what they are made of and showed what heavyweight boxing can be with enough will to win. AMAZING FIGHT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE!!!Comment

Agree. TBH, Wilder showed the same chin, grit and heart in other tough fights, especially the 2nd Fury fight. We all thought he was seconds away from getting KO'd before Breland threw the towel, but, hell, maybe not. Wilder looked like he was sleepwalking for half of the fight this weekend, but he just kept fighting. Massive heart and will to grind.Comment

Good. I didn't know that he had been banned. And to answer your question, it's a matter of degrees. What Gilgamesh said would be the same as saying, "What's with all the ****** thugs jumping on the bandwagon?" It's the same thing. Yeah, you are touching on stereotypes, but it does reach the level of what paper champ said. It's a matter of degrees. It was also a direct attack on myself rather than just a general question. That's the other factor. If you can't see the difference, then that's on you.Comment
