Honestly I'm just wondering how anyone ever thought that Kownacki would ever amount to anything after that performance. All Helenius needed was the straight 1-2, over and over again, accompanied with some very basic movement. I think that anyone who ever lost to Kownacki needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

I like this guy, but he is very basic with poor stamina. An easy comeback fight for Wilder. Wilder made his career knocking out that level guys.

        It wasn't banned until 1969

Amateur boxing was legal as I understand it but I read the same thing, that it had been illegal in both Sweden and Norway. Denmark seems to have embraced it earlier

You could have googled it if you actually wanted to know.

They lifted the ban in the 1940's and put it back in place in 1969.

IMO the doubters will see Helenius surprise several top HWs in upcoming fights.
Not saying he goes all the way to the top, but he would beat Martin, White, Parker, Hunter, Chisora and several others.
And it's possible he would beat Joshua. The ones I think he wouldn't beat would be Fury and Usyk.
But definitely looking forward to his next fights. He seems to have finally gotten past the injuries,
and that long piston jab will be trouble for any HW. Just my 37 cents worth. And what a great fight card.

He was going right to the top until an injury derailed his career years ago.

Male breasts are what Kownacki has.

That's absolutely not true. He's been Finnish all his life. His parents lived in Sweden when he was born, and he's part of the large minority of Finns who speak Swedish as their first language (Swedish and Finnish are the two official languages of Finland) but he's always been 100% Finnish and speaks also perfect Finnish.

So he's not duel citizen? My mistake then. Thank you.
