Wilder coming in heavy was a big mistake

Seriously what was the point of it? He still gave up a ton of size and was gonna get mauled in the clinch regardless.

He lost some of his explosiveness and also looked gassed by the 3rd round. This is someone who didn't seem to have stamina issues years ago.

I think it was a good plan, instead of being a homerun hitter he transformed himself into a grand slam artist with the help of modern day science said Lennox Lewis. It's too bad deontay had no inside game at fighting. Heck the foul pole junior (Adam koneckski) had better luck on the inside and he was only throwing low blows.

My point being, fight like Ricky Hatton or Rid**** Bowe in the clinch. ROUGH HIM UP!¡! It's not a break until the ref advises you or physically separated them. How about taking a step back and throwing a dirty uppercut or a chopping lead right hand? The hands are free...

He seems more fluid, didn't get as tired and still kept his power at 220 ibs. That might be the sweet spot for him.

As far as their outside game: from long distance: fury was landing the faster straighter snappier type blows. Deontay would telegraph by ****ing his right back from his lunge position into a looping right hand, with all the sauce on it, 2 different moves back then forward (the punch I mean) whenever d did this it made him lose a fraction of a second with his arm back, hence the fastest way to a point is a straight line from Tyson fury. Who didn't load up as much at times yet being more effective.

Maybe. But he'd have a better chance of winning

He can come in light, heavy or anything in between. It doesn't matter. He lost and would always lose. No more excuses.
