The body attack is what got him the knockdowns. Why?
Why did Wilder stop going to the body?

Idk it looked like it was working. It kept Fury on the defense for the entire 1st round. Why not go back to what was working for you???? -

Because he doesn't know what he's doing just like you and if I was in GGG's shoes or whatever heehaw bum you fought you would be starched like a dead body. If you knew anything about boxing, he was over extending and a matter of time before Fury shuffled back and starched him with a right hand. I did the same thing against an amateur who bunked with Tyson in the amateurs. Yea b1tch, thats my road. You a nobody who never did shet. Fcuk WIlder and fcuk you, you racist pig.Comment

Because he can't box. He could do it when he was fresh and as soon as he got clipped his total lack of any boxing fundamentals shows up again.Comment

Because it's hard to break old habits, Wilder's never went to the body until this fight and he went back to his old ways when Fury, started pressuring him.Comment

My guess is just experience. Wilder doesn't yet know how to fully incorporate them in to his fighting style yet.Comment

Because he got hit. It was a ****** strategy, if he truly thought he was going to use the long jab and box behind it for 12 rounds and Fury wouldn't adjust and outbox him then he was truly delusional.
He needed to maul Fury from the opening bell and shoot his shot. He came out in the most unnatural way possible for himself, and it went how it's always gone.Comment
