What a fight…

Fury was clear-eyed though and wasn't wobbly, and I'm pretty sure he got up as soon as the ref turned back to him after shooing Wilder to the correct corner. It was also a rabbit punch if we're being picky.
Go back and watch the count. He took an extended pause in the middle of the count, completely out of cadence with the rest of the count. I understand that it's not a literal ten second clock. It was a bad count and both Andre Ward and Lennox Lewis pointed it out live.Comment

Ward is as easy to read as anyone - anyone today who could challenge (in his mind) his place as the 'top' boxer, he likes to take shots against. Did it with Crawford, Canelo, Loma and now Fury.
This. Bringing up the ten count after the fight is just sour g****s. Just like the first fight.
And Andre Ward bringing it up after the fight was him catering to people who don't understand the rules. But you could tell from his facial expressions during the knockdowns who he was cheering for. Giddy when Fury went down. Corpsing when Wilder went down.
The guy is a complete halfway crook, never liked him. Tough and smart fighter though. Overrated as hell but he was tough and smartComment

Do you think Tyson wouldn't have gotten up for a faster count? He had his wits about him when he got up. Do you think he wouldn't have had them about him for a 2 second faster count or even a 3 second faster count?

When he goes down, he takes the count. Like... a smart fighter.Comment

i agree. I’d still favor wilder over usyk, joshua and ruiz. I was wishing those would happen before this trilogy but oh well he went directly to the fire again.
