Is Tank Davis the new Terence Crawford?

Where the eye test indicates that he might be the best in his weight class, but he doesn't ever actually fight the opponents to prove it?

Not really. Crawford isn’t the draw at ww. Tank is the draw at LW so it’s probably worse for Tank because in theory he can make any fight he wants because he can get the opponent the biggest purse.

Davis just went up to 140 and fought Barrios. Now he’s fighting a KO artist in Romero who’s Tank’s mandatory since Romero is the interim champ.

Meanwhile we have Loma taking 2 meaningless fights in Nakatani who was beaten by a 21yr old Teo and Commey who was KO’ed in 2 rounds when Teo was 22.

Blame his management team headed by Mayweather and Ellerbe.
Floyd made it very clear recently. Only in-house fights are allowed for Tank.

I have nothing against Davis. He's an entertaining fighter.
I don't think he's the kind who ducks fights.

At least Crawford used to fight champions once upon a time,Tank is the most annoying fighter in the sport because hes already established & a draw, but has no direction of any kind in his career & lets Floyd baby him with training wheels.

I said before he signed to fight Rolly that it seemed he was a rudderless ship with no direction in sight(& that unlike most fighters who have potential opponents lined up that everyone knows they'll eventually fight,Tank just coasts from cherry to cherry,& he proved me right by fighting a D lister again)

When Floyd said he contacted top rank about a fight against Loma, Tank went on a rant on Twitter crying, slating Floyd and saying his team are trying to get him beat ...

Teofimo Lopez on the other hand was chasing a fight with Loma

So the jury is still out on whether Tank really wants to fight the best. It will be a shame if he doesn’t because he’s very good.

Terence Crawford was the lineal lightweight champion and the undisputed super lightweight champion.

Crawford defeated an undefeated welterweight champion who beat Manny Pacquiao to win his welterweight title.

Crawford defeated a former welterweight champion who only had one loss in the division.

Crawford defeated a former unified super welterweight champion who was undefeated at welterweight.

Everyone else Crawford fought at welterweight was undefeated.

Crawford is now fighting a former two-time welterweight champion.

You compare him to Gervonta “interim WBA champion” Davis?

              LOL

That seems to be the way of the African American fighter take as very little risk as possible very carefully select you’re opponents and just claim you’re the best ever and hope people fall for it.

                it wasn’t like this before.

So you're telling me Tank has fought Barrios then Rolly?

That kind of proves my point, doesn't it? Are fans supposed to be excited about getting those fights instead of getting the best against the best?

You should post it because I missed that, hilarious af though.

I do remember Floyd openly saying that he wouldn't let Tank fight Loma anytime soon because "he isn't going to match him vs the best anytime soon so he won't lose"
