Is Marquez champ if he beats Floyd?

Floyd was the last person to hold the Ring Magazine welterweight championship until he retired. If Floyd loses to Marquez, does Marquez become the new champion or what?

No, he just gets lots of credit for the win. The fight doesnt have any belt on the line.

He gets extremely mad credit since I see no one seriously picking him to win, sure their are bets on here but bets on here mean nothing since its just e-points. Most of the people betting e-points are hoping he wins, but I doubt they really expect him to win.

Absolutely not. Marquez champ in a division that houses Cotto, Clottey, Mosely and Williams? After fighting Floyd at 144.

Amazing win. Not a champion at WW.
