Usyk is a champ and Jared Anderson is on a ppv card. Finally a chance the hw division will have a respectable top 10. Jared and Usyk can clean things up and retire the Whyte, Parker, Chisora, Helenius, Fury, Wilder of this world.

Size plays a big factor in pro boxing. It literally determines who can fight who.

If size was not a factor, Beterbiev can go up to HW to fight Fury. Or Naoya Inoue could fight Canelo at 168 in a fight for P4P supremacy.

Or a blockbuster fight at 147 between the then top 3 P4P fighters Manny Pacquiao vs Roman Gonzalez.

And in the post fight interview we would have had heard both Pac and Chico answers to every question being “Thank god. God is good. God wanted me to lose. God helped me win. Only the lord knows. If I ever meet God, i’d absolutely give him a blo job. I’d turn gay for him, he’s a real dish. God should be in every cover of GQ.”

    All jokes aside.

Size absolutely matters. The question is, is the bigger man also a very good boxer? Skillwise, is the bigger man considered elite? We are not talking about Haye vs Valuev here. Even a 50 year old Holyfield clearly beat Valuev, but was robbed. Yes Fury’s skills are elite level from his era of boxers. And he is tall and heavy.

Wilder is not only smaller, he’s less skilled than Fury. That is a lot to overcome. Too much to overcome. In the first fight Wilder fought a version of Fury that was ill-prepared, fresh off of a mental health crisis and lastly, fresh off of having drug issues. And he got a controversial draw. Even if Wilder happened to have similar elite skills as Fury, he is still in trouble due to size.

Seeing fights like Usyk vs Joshua, Usyk was the more skilled boxer. His skills allowed him to overcome AJ’s size and power. If you are one of the smaller fighters of a weight class, you can overcome that with skills. Like Mayweather and Pacquiao did at 147.

Wilder is one of the least skilled boxers at HW. Although I still think he can beat anyone there but Fury. In fact, it’s an awful idea to fight Fury again without even getting your confidence back. Wilder should have gone after Whyte or Ruiz. Major props to Wilder for exercising his trilogy clause. That is a real fighter no matter what his critics say. Not many fighters would fight another fighter who kicked their ass badly in every round for 7 rounds. Wilder looked hopeless in there. It was the type of beating that people scratch their head over for the losing fighter to want it again. Wilder even looked done and went into hiding mode after talking nonsense about Fury cheating and the heavy costume. I’m shocked Wilder wanted this fight again.

Fury has exceptional qualities for a heavyweight

he is very mobile, with very good technique... he has good balance/coordination, and very good defence... and unfortunately for his opponents, Fury has excellent ringIQ and a great understanding of the game... which makes him a very good fighter, because he is able to make the most of his size and use his height/weight to his advantage... much like Klitschko did when he refined his game under Steward

Fury is not good, because he is big... his height and weight make him dangerous, because he is so good

Wilder shouldn't come in at more than 225 to 230 pounds, but he obviously wants to counter Fury pushing him back and laying his weight on him.

It's going to be a special fight, in spite of those dissing this fight. This will determine who the best heavyweight in the world is, conclusively hopefully, no dq, no bad cut stopping the fight, no draw.
It's already decided. Fury has beaten him twice.

By the way, it will be my fault if Wilder loses again. I've arranged to cheat with Tyson Fury by sticking pins in a voodoo doll of Wilder. So again, Wilder will be cheated out of his rightful title. His arms and legs will freeze during the fight and he'll get stabbing pains! The boxing commissions won't investigate this blatant cheating! Oh, the world is so unfair! It's all a big conspiracy against Deontay!

Why would Fury change his plan when he totally demolished Wilder last fight? Sure, he may be prepared to look out for a few desperate tactics Wilder might try, but he ran over Wilder like a tank. He knows Wilder can't fight if he keeps him backing up. Wilder hasn't learned to be a skilled boxer anywhere near Fury's league. He still can't hit hard if he's moving back. That's something only the true greats, like Ali could do. This will be like a test with the generic vs the name brand.. Fury being the name brand. Fury will just out physical Wilder from the opening bell. Unless the ref halts the contest so Wilder can impress us all with his 350 lb bench press, the night will end with Wilder flat on his back on the canvas. Really hoping he "goes out on his shield" and Malik lets the slaughter happen until the ref stops it. Can't wait of the new list of excuses! Let's get this farce over with!

Rematch was using that extra weight and size for strength and power, that worked. Only thing i see fury doing IF he comes in heavier is sit on his punches more, and given Wilder is planning on slipping and countering, i think fury will bring back that urky jerky feints from the 2st fight that wasnt so needed in the rematch... get wilder unsteady and hesitating and then pick him off and back him up, see a aggressive.
Fury will weight exactly the same as he did last time, and will continue to fight at this weight for the rest of his career.

By his own admission, he lost too much weight for the Wallin fight and looked a bit weak, hence why he completely changed his team after that fight. Fury is a better fighter when he's heavy.
